Fun, friendly and inclusive bike
rides for women and girls
of all ages and abilities

Women On Wheels events are mass participation female-only bike rides, that put a strong focus on the fun, friendly and inclusive aspects of cycling, usually raising money for a local charity. They are aimed at non-cyclists and existing cyclists alike, with routes of an achievable distance, and are open to all ages.

“Amazing day, superb organisation, so friendly.”

Due to the ongoing challenges and uncertainties of the Covid 19 pandemic, unfortunately there won't be any WoW events taking place during 2021. We are really disappointed not to be able to return this year but will be working hard with all the events to have a full programme of events in 2022. We would encourage you to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get handy tips and information on cycling in your area and we will provide details and dates for the 2022 programme as soon as they are available.

The Women's Tour professional cycling race passed through Suffolk on Saturday the 9th October, starting in Haverhill and finishing in Felixstowe. To watch a review of the whole race and full highlights of the Suffolk stage visit the Women's Tour You Tube channel at or go to the website at The Women's Tour will be returning to Suffolk again in 2022 so watch out for announcements in the new year!

If you're looking for challenges and incentives to stay motivated and get out on your bike why not sign up to Love to Ride Suffolk and take part in Winter Wheelers this December? There are great prizes to be won, so why not get out for a dose of fresh air and fun and you could even win a brand new bike on Christmas Day. For full details and to register visit
